The place I was staying in New York City a few weeks ago ended up being in right near the staging point for the Korean American Parade. On our way out for the day we passed a number of groups warming up for the parade. This particular group was playing musical instruments and doing traditional dances.
It was rather humourous how quickly a ragtag band of photographers gathered around this man. He was the "papa" of the group. The leader, dressed differently than the rest of the group and the focal point. Really, I stopped to get a few shots of him, moving along with him as he danced around the sidewalk, and when I pulled back there were three other photographers taking advantage of the moment. Probably should've shot them, too. That would've been funny.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
